"Game Changer of the week" | Laws: 5:01 (Overtime)

Here at TTV we search for artists that pursue to change the industry with their own added flavor by perfecting their craft...in an unconventional way, and Laws is definitely doing his thing by seamlessly infiltrating the hip-hop world. No lie we slept on dude with his "4:57 " drop back in February, and although this is long over-due, his latest work "5:01 - (Overtime) " is fire.

Brazilian born, Florida based MC Laws - and signed artist to J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League x Warner Brothers - provides a dope lyrical reservoir of tracks that mixes elements of progressive, R&B, rock, x indie hip-hop...while still keeping it raw.

Join Laws on his lyrical and artistic growth quest as an artist with tracks produced by 9th Wonder, DJ Khalil, Justice League; features by Emilio Rojas, Jay Rock, Big K.R.I.T. x more on his latest work "5:01 (Overtime) "- which is a re-released version of mixtape "4:57 " with 4 added new tracks - as he transitions from a normal 9-5, to living his dream as a full-time artist.

Laws - Shining produced by 9th Wonder

Asher Roth x Seared Foie Gras with Quince and Cranberry Mixtape

Asher Roth hit the people with his new mixtape, and I must say I haven't listened to it yet, but that boy Asher SPITS and with Pac Div, Talib Kweli, Ryan Leslie and many more - and did I mention production by J. Dilla, 9th Wonder, Kanye West, RZA, Just Blaze, Pharrell and so much more - on the tape sounds like a concoction of dopeness to me. Download here:

Wale x 9th Wonder: Beast

Surprisingly this track didn't make the cut for Wale's new release Attention Deficit that was Prod. by 9th Wonder. I'm still salty that Attention Deficit sold only a little less than 30k in it's first week due to Interscope saying he is "Weisman" and bigger then metrics (radio), so they under shipped his LP which led to fans being unable to find it in stores while Flyleaf and the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack charts the top 10...

Strange Fruit Project: Mask EP

Dallas/Waco's own Strange Fruit Project just dropped their EP Mask (Making Art Sound Kool) featuring producers like PicnicTyme and 9th Wonder. I've been jammin' to The Healing (2006) for a minute so it's good to get some new stuff from these dudes. Free download of EP Mask here , support good music!

Throwback Tuesday: DBL Dose

Little Brother & 9th Wonder: Hadizzle

"Creativity On Creatine"
