New Music: Diggy Simmons - "Airbourne" x XV - "Vizzy Zone"

Diggy Simmons - "Airbourne"

Since dropping his last mixtape "The First Flight" last Winter, young Diggy Simmons has been perfecting his art and recently dropped his newest album "Airbourne." Finally getting a chance to listen to Dig's new project, the youngin' has definitely grown into his own and showing his ability as an artist on the tape. With features from heavies including: Lupe Fiasco, Pharrell, Raekwon, Colin Munroe x more, and production from Omen, Naeko x Black the Beast Dig takes you on his journey through the come up x shows his versatility.

XV - "Vizzy Zone"

Along with finally getting a chance to listen to Dig's new project, we also got the once over - which turned into a constant replay of the whole tape - from XV's latest.

Recently signing to Warner Bros. Records, XV dropped mixtape "Vizzy Zone." In the same sphere as KiD CuDi x Big Sean, "Vizzy Zone" takes you into the world of XV. This tape definitely surprised us by not having one whack track on the project - XV x Kweli go in on "Rest Button" - def. a TTV fav on the tape- taking shots for not being included in as one of the Freshman 10, and features including: Talib Kweli, KiD CuDi, Mike Posner, Bun B, Colin Munroe x production by Seven, Omen, Mike Posner, x more. XV, definitely a good look on this one.

Big Sean x Drake: "Made"

Big Sean leaked his second single "Made" feat. Drake, which is set to have a spot on his upcoming official freshman album "Finally Famous." The LP is set for a 2010 drop, and will be host to producers including: Kanye West, No I.D., and The Neptunes; along with artists Pharrell, The Dream, Drake and more.

Asher Roth x Seared Foie Gras with Quince and Cranberry Mixtape

Asher Roth hit the people with his new mixtape, and I must say I haven't listened to it yet, but that boy Asher SPITS and with Pac Div, Talib Kweli, Ryan Leslie and many more - and did I mention production by J. Dilla, 9th Wonder, Kanye West, RZA, Just Blaze, Pharrell and so much more - on the tape sounds like a concoction of dopeness to me. Download here:

Blueprint 3 Tour Recap

Ahh what to say what to say, nothing but a smile on my face during the whole show! If you have a chance you def. need to check out the next stop. Unfortunately me and the crewski didn't make it to the venue in time to catch opener J. Cole, but he ripped it on " A Star is Born" with Hov; and we made it in time for two N.E.R.D songs but wasn't able to get some footage. Was kinda salty that Austin didn't give NERD much love; everyone was pretty mellow and was just waiting for HOV to hop. Definitely one of the best shows I've been to, energy was sick and Hov did a couple tracks from Hard Knock Vol. 2, Blueprint 2 & some of the Black Album (Lucifier went to hard). Definitely worth the 3 1/2 hour trek from Dallas. Here's some rawness from the show, only snips though.

Wale Ft. Pharrell: Inhibitions

New single off Wale's upcoming Attention Deficit dropped yesterday. Real nice to Wale stick to his mixtape roots when he goes mainstream. Album drops October 20th, Wale plans to give folks real hip-hop and not this "disposable" rap that everyone seems to be drooling over.

Pharrell's Hermes Hoodie

Hmmm, now I don't like it when people tell me how to spend my money (unless it's family or the crew), or when people tell other people how to spend their money , but Pharrell went extra hard with this one of one $18,000-$75,000 Hermes Croc hoodie. I mean we know dude is up on his style game, and money aint a thing to him; but overkill maybe? Still clean though lol
