Wiz Khalifa: Deal or No Deal
Forgive the lateness, but its the holidays negros! Young Khalifa dropped his highly anticipated album Deal or No Deal Nov. 24, and yes well worth the dozens of mixtapes and years worth of waiting. Support good music, no downloads or isohunts buy and enjoy. Although this track isn't new still one of my favorites from Wiz, def. co-signing the beat.

Tyga: Black Thoughts
Tyga's tape dropped last week sometime, and I finally got the chance to do a full listen through. Being compared to Wiz because of similar looks, Tyga's new tape is straight and far from young khalifa. Tyga's flows are legit and actually rappin' about some substancial ish rather then mixing the coconut and a lime together. Moving from his pop-hop, dude is holding it down. Def. worth a listen, download here.

Wale x 9th Wonder: Beast
Surprisingly this track didn't make the cut for Wale's new release Attention Deficit that was Prod. by 9th Wonder. I'm still salty that Attention Deficit sold only a little less than 30k in it's first week due to Interscope saying he is "Weisman" and bigger then metrics (radio), so they under shipped his LP which led to fans being unable to find it in stores while Flyleaf and the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack charts the top 10...

Purple Monkey Sircus: PMS 3/ "FML"
The cats of Purple Monkey Sircus (PMS) have dropped a new single for upcoming EP PMS 3 prod. by Mick Boogie. Stamping themselves as an alternative/hip-hop crew "FML" has a catchy guitar riff, but on the real these dudes can flow. PMS 3:Candyland will drop January 13 (link coming soon). Until then, download their first EP prod. by Mick Boogie if you haven't already copped it.

Esteban Pastorino Diaz @ Photographs Do Not Bend
Saturday, November 21-January 2, 2010
This Saturday Photographs Do Not Bend (PDNB) will hold an artist reception for Argentine artist Esteban Pastorino Diaz from 5pm-8pm! This International artist is known for his playful, aerial photographs that are taken by kite with his handmade camera creating some insane 3-D panoramic views; his latest project actually required him to acquire a pilot’s license and an extremely light craft. Diaz plans to break and set records by taking some of the longest and illest photos ever produced. These “play-land” esque 3-D photos are sure to catch the eyes of adults and children as well. Diaz also plans to arrive to Dallas early to create new works showcasing our city; and with all the life around the Metroplex, I’m sure our area will be an open canvas for Diaz. More here.

Blueprint 3 Tour Recap
Ahh what to say what to say, nothing but a smile on my face during the whole show! If you have a chance you def. need to check out the next stop. Unfortunately me and the crewski didn't make it to the venue in time to catch opener J. Cole, but he ripped it on " A Star is Born" with Hov; and we made it in time for two N.E.R.D songs but wasn't able to get some footage. Was kinda salty that Austin didn't give NERD much love; everyone was pretty mellow and was just waiting for HOV to hop. Definitely one of the best shows I've been to, energy was sick and Hov did a couple tracks from Hard Knock Vol. 2, Blueprint 2 & some of the Black Album (Lucifier went to hard). Definitely worth the 3 1/2 hour trek from Dallas. Here's some rawness from the show, only snips though.

"Surface with an Opening” Exhibit @ MAC
Saturday, November 14 through December 19
The McKinney Avenue Contemporary host Eric McGehearty and his “Surface with an Opening” exhibit. In this exhibit, McGehearty explores the human mouth and provides interesting variations in his pieces for you to experience his view of the organ. UNT alum, McGehearty finds adventure in the worlds of illegibility and inaccessibility as an artist and views his work as a visual branch of signs and symbols that hone formal and conceptual contradictions. Diz Gibran: Soon You'll Understand
First video from "Soon You'll Understand", Diz Gibran shouldn't be slept on. The album is presented by Crooks and Castles (released back in April) with a good mix of features like BJ The Chicago Kid ( hook from Dom Kennedy's "Of All Time"), Pac Div, Bleu Collar and more.

Supra Skytop II just set date for a November 21st drop...but in Paris :(. Getting buzz from skaters and sneakerheads from around the way, the skytops are a must have if you ask me. Can't wait for that State-wide drop. Only 600 pairs of the grey colorway will be available at a Paris boutique.
